Our annual Fall For Fish event is fast approaching – we hope to see you Oct. 5th to celebrate another year of accomplishments.
The program is underway! We are currently having conversations with a number of great speakers for the program and checking their availability. Like last year, we’re seeking out speakers who partner with us on our work to protect and preserve Hidden Valley and to highlight organizations that we partner with to ensure robust educational and outdoor experiences for individuals of all backgrounds.
We are also working on collecting silent auction items. Our silent auction is always a hit. Our Board of Directors and friends of the Foundation focus on providing items that reflect our commitment to sustainability. Among the auction items you’ll find experiences, like kayaking trips, items made locally, and treasures that are made from upcycled or recycled materials. If you’re interested in contributing an auction item, please contact coordinator@ketalegacy.org.
We work with an excellent caterer who creates a meal that is locally sourced and delicious. Our wines are certified “salmon friendly.” And by serving the meal family style, we strengthen connections through conversation. We strive to live our values in the work we do on the Preserve, in our education programs, through our Community Grants, and as we gather together to celebrate that work.
We hope you’ll join us to break bread and learn more about the great work and partnerships the Foundation fosters across the Salish Sea region and beyond. You can register online.
