Sawtooth Society: This grant funds 632 hours of backcountry restoration in the Sawtooth NRA and supports overnight hitches essential for efficient trail maintenance and drainage repair. Crews will dismantle illegal fire rings, stabilize eroded trail tread, and remove trash from off-trail lake sites. We’ll also document and share our USFS-integrated model to help other stewardship organizations adopt the same approach.
