You Inspire Us

We closed out 2024 with a lot of successes thanks to you, our all-volunteer board, our interns and our community members. It’s important to all of us on the board that we be catalysts for the Foundation to achieve its mission to Preserve, Inspire and Educate the current and future generations of land and water stewards. Leaving a legacy of stewardship and partnership is paramount to all of us.

It is incredibly inspiring to be trusted to use your generous donations, bequests and time to fulfill that mission. All year long, you show up to support our replanting work. Your financial donations have helped us build a new pavilion to host groups and student field trips. At every turn, you inspire our conservation and restoration work on the Preserve.

Because of you, our Community Grants program remains strong. Our generous benefactor, Norm Winn, left us a bequest that allows us to extend our reach beyond the Salish Sea region. Generous donors at Fall for Fish enable us to provide field trip transportation awards for schools and community groups to visit the Preserve. This newsletter has information on how to apply for transportation awards in the Educate section below. And, because of the many bequests left to the Foundation, we are continuing to support groups and work across the Salish Sea region and now, beyond.

As we head into 2025, we thank you for all you have done alongside us and look forward to working hand-in-hand with you on all the good work we’ll be doing this year. If you would like to learn more about our board, field trips, grants, or how to create a bequest for Keta Legacy Foundation, please reach out to coordinator@ketalegacy.org.
